How might we equip people and
organizations to connect with purpose
while shaping the economy of the future?

Intraprenör is an award-winning Berlin-based consultancy that helps people and organizations navigate and shape the future of work.

Over the course of five years, I worked with Intraprenör as a consultant in residence on projects centered around digitalization, people development organizational culture and product innovation.

Connecting with Purpose

In 2016, Intraprenör began to shift their focus from traditional innovation consulting towards an emphasis on helping companies navigate the future of work through the lens of organizational culture. In the process, I worked with the company to think intentionally about their own internal culture.

Over the course of several months, I designed and managed a series of internal workshops and focus groups that helped the organization define its first purpose statement and set of organizational values. In the wake of these workshops, I prototyped a series of interventions that helped bring these values to life within the company, and designed tools for team meetings where staff could reflect on the degree to which their work was connected to purpose.

This project went on to become the Intraprenör Culture Book, which served as a model for how the organization works with companies to create cultural artifacts. In light of our intentional focus on purpose and culture, Intraprenör was awarded the XING New Work Award in 2017. To date, Intraprenör continually works with a strong emphasis on culture and purpose. For more information on this project to date, check out their website.

Amplifying the story

Given that the organization was awarded for its new emphasis on culture, it became time to communicate that story to its broader audience of clients and partners. To build momentum around the topic, I re-launched the organization’s Instagram account and created inspiring content that helped to build an active and engaged community around topics related to people and culture, digitalization and organizational purpose.

At the same time, I also built a partnership between Intraprenör and Culture Design to conceptualize and launch “Culture Camp”, a full-day intensive workshop that equipped startup founders with insights and tools to intentionally articulate and shape culture within their organizations.
